This nativity scene was inspired by a visit to an amazing exhibit of hundreds of crèches of all descriptions, along with my inability to find the nativity figurines that spoke to me while combing through thrift stores.
My friend and I had a post-exhibit discussion regarding the minimum elements necessary to constitute a nativity. I started with BABY JESUS and MARY and went on from there.
